Facebook & WhatsApp Data Deletion

Required by Meta Platform Policy for apps using Facebook Login or WhatsApp Business API

What data does Meta share with CuraNova?

When you connect via Facebook Login or when CuraNova communicates with you via WhatsApp Business API, Meta may share limited profile data with us — such as your name, profile picture, WhatsApp phone number, and Facebook user ID. This data is used solely to authenticate your account or to enable WhatsApp-based messaging between you and your clinic.

This page covers deletion of Meta-sourced data only (Facebook Login profile data and WhatsApp messaging data). It does not cover deletion of your CuraNova clinic account or patient records. To delete your full CuraNova account, please contact support@curanova.in.

What Meta Data Gets Deleted

  • Your Facebook User ID linked to your CuraNova account
  • Facebook profile name and profile picture (if used for login)
  • WhatsApp phone number linked for Business API messaging
  • WhatsApp message logs stored within CuraNova
  • Any OAuth tokens or access tokens issued by Meta

How to Request Deletion

Option 1 — Via Facebook Settings

  1. 1Go to your Facebook account Settings
  2. 2Navigate to "Apps and Websites"
  3. 3Find "CuraNova" in the list of connected apps
  4. 4Click "Remove" and confirm
  5. 5This disconnects the app and triggers deletion of your Facebook data from our system

Option 2 — Email Request

Email us at support@curanova.in with:

  • Subject: Meta Data Deletion Request
  • Your registered email address on CuraNova
  • Your Facebook User ID (found in Facebook Settings → Your Facebook Information)
  • Or your WhatsApp number linked to CuraNova

Deletion Timeline

We will complete deletion of all Meta-sourced data within 30 days of receiving your request. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
